Empire State by Adam Christopher: Book Giveaway

Empire State by Adam Christopher is our giveaway for the Leap into Books Giveaway Hop. Some of the novels Angry Robots publishes have quite unique concepts, and this is one of them. I really enjoyed it!

In this novel, there are two New York Cities: Manhattan and Empire State. Empire State was created during the Prohibition era when NYC’s two superheroes battled for the last time. So now they exist in parallel to each other. But not for much longer unless someone can figure out how to keep the fissure from closing. If the fissure closes, the resulting instability will mean both will be destroyed.

Empire State pulls together steampunk, scifi, superhero, and a wide variety of other elements that blend to create a very unusual and interesting novel.

Instead of giving a synopsis and quotes, I’m giving you an excerpt to read for yourself.

So, what do you think? Like it?

Empire State was released in December, 2011, so it should be available from your favorite bookseller below. Just click the button to go there to get it.
