This is very helpful — I wish I could have just copied & pasted to my calendar though.
I can’t wait for updates!

Thanks for the list of book festivals

I love that is showing book events (festivals & fairs included) worldwide. Thanks for commenting about it and providing the link, Julia!

Thank you for the great information! Dayton, Ohio had an annual book event. The 2014 event is May 3. Visit for details.

Mk June 3, 2013 at 5:52 am

Thanks for the info about the Dayton event, Valerie!

Angela Reid June 3, 2013 at 6:11 am

It might be a little more useful IF we could copy information about the festivals and pass on the specifics.

WHY isn’t the Decatur BOOK FESTIVAL mentioned: the largest independent book festival in the country. Join us Labor Day weekend August 30 – September 1, 2013 in historic downtown Decatur, GA–

Mk June 3, 2013 at 6:32 am

Thanks for the info about the Decatur, GA festival, Angela. You’re right – that would be useful. You can, however, bookmark the page to refer back to.

I wish I could unblock just this page but I can’t. I have copy/paste blocked this web site because content pirating has reached epidemic levels online. Believe it or not, there are jerks out there who would love to just copy all the content I’ve worked so hard to write, paste it onto their own web site, and call it theirs. I wish it weren’t that way but, unfortunately it is. Sigh.

The harlem book fair is in July, not June.

Mk June 9, 2013 at 4:46 am

Thanks for letting me know – I went by the dates on the web site but maybe they were still showing last year’s at that time. I’ll check it and update it asap!
